Yakovlev Yak-3U D-FLAK
The Yakovlev Yak-3 by Max Alpha Aviation Ltd. was the second German Yak-3 with German registration/permit to fly.
The Yak-3U with the serial # 470 202 is coded "D-FLAK" and flew with Achim Meier at the controls for the first time on October 23rd, 2004. This wonderful aircraft is stored and maintained by MeierMotors and is of course in top condition!

In 2010, a great check-up was made, followed by new paintjob. Steven Atkin discussed the model selection with Max Alpha Aviation and is responsible for the colors and details of the so-called stencils. Our painter Ralf painted the aircraft in our shop. In September 2010 the roll-out took place and the D-FLAK shines again in newest gloss. We look forward to see this wonderful aircraft soon again in the air.
